Why Kapil Sharma didn’t attend Bharti Singh – Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s wedding ceremony

Mumbai: Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s destination wedding in Goa was a starry event attended by some of the big names in the television industry. Krushna Abhishek and Sunil Grover too had attended their colleague’s marriage ceremony but Kapil Sharma was conspicuous by his absence.
Kapil’s absence made people wonder why he did so.
Latest buzz suggests that Kapil chose to give dear friend Bharti’s wedding ceremony a miss to avoid Krushna and Sunil. Krushna has often been pitted against Kapil as his arch rival while Sunil had quit The Kapil Sharma Show after the fight on flight.
Kapil has since then been in massive trouble. His health deteriorated and he had to call off his TV shoot quite a few times. This landed him in more trouble and soon he and the channel broadcasting TKSS mutually decided to take the show off air.
Interestingly, Bharti had recently talked about her plans to do a show with Kapil after returning from her honeymoon in Europe. But one can’t stop wondering why Kapil didn’t turn up given the fact that his second film Firangi released on December 1 and Bharti’s wedding was held two days later.
Though Kapil and Krushna are believed to be rivals on screen, they share a great equation in real life.
Bharti had spoken about their off screen friendship during an interview with DNA a few days back.
She said, “Just because they did different shows, people say they are rivals. But I know the inside story. Nobody writes about the times we meet and party. I never had a problem working with either of them. I have always had fun. I wish all the three of us do a show together — tehelka mach chayega.”
